I want E17 (http://www.enlightenment.org/pages/main.html) so badly. E 0.17 is a bitch to compile uder FreeBSD, it appears be alot more linux oriented :(.

bitch to install??? Man, that brings back some old memories. KrUsTy! and I had a personal race years back to see who could manage to build enlightenment first. Trouble was, we were attempting to do it from source on OpenBSD 2.4!!!!!
Talk about a bitch!!!!!
KrUsTy! ended up winning though I wasn't far behind. Trouble with mine was, I ended up hacking out huge portions of the Makefile when it would error out in certain spots. Needless to say, his had a bit more functionality than mine

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about. It compiled without a hitch from ports on my STABLE box. Is this 5.0 perhaps??

The version which I found in the port is 16( Freebie 5.0 rc3 ), I also got E17 to compile/install though it core dumps every time that I startx  nyahh what can I do. If you guys need some help compiling it I found this (http://www.desktopian.org/e17/E17-FreeBSD-HOWTO) walkthrough very helpful. As a side note E17 looks (http://enlightenment.org/pages/shots/dr17shot2-default-full.jpg) awesome, I can't wait til the official release.
