I like to play with freebsd at work. Unfortunately the only unix boxes around are solaris. I'm wondering if there is a (simple) way for freebsd to fingerprint/report as a solaris box. Hell even a windows box would be fine. I know every time that box goes on the network it sticks out like a sore thumb and eventually someone will notice it.
Any ideas?

setup up your firewall to stealth the ports and make like a hole in the network.

Changing the fingerprint means you have to act like something else. That would mean you have to act as bad as the box you want to look like. Probably not what you really want to do.
