Can anyone tell me how I can enable java to work with Mozilla.
I made sure the jre is installed from ports as is the linux plugin, not sure what else I need to make it see the plugin.
Also same thing with firebird. I am sure once I get one working the other will be a similar change.

Install /usr/ports/java/jdk13. More info here (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/desktop-browsers.html).

Ok I did that, all the java applets are now working but it does not work with hushmail. On hushmails site they recommend using the jdk1.4 for RedHat users, I am not sure if that would help. I think I read of people having problems with 1.4.

You can have Mozilla, Firebird, & Linux-mozillafirebird all installed at the same time. If you want java in the native, install the diablo-jre port, and symlink the driver to the plugin directory.
