Is there a remote disk imaging software for FreeBSD that will support various file systems? I'd like to use one of my FreeBSD systems as a backup image server.

Right on! Looks like just the solution I'm looking for. Now to figure out how to ignore the empty and partial bytes. :D

Along with that, I guess you would boot with a Linux/UNIX floppy/CD disk and then dump back on to the drive?

Yeah, FIRE or a customized Knoppix live cd would work great if you needed to copy a windows machine.
