Hi

i'm trying to convert from windows to freebsd, but i ran into a minor problem. On my laptop (Dell D505) the boot loader makes a loud BEEP sound when it starts. It really bug the hell out of me, and my co-workers.

Does anyone know howto to remove that beep sound. It does not come up on any other maschine i have installed.
If not does anybody have any good suggestions to what bootloader is easyst to use. I still run windows on a small partition on the laptop maybe that bootloader is a way to go ?

I don't know what to say about the beep, but GAG [gag.sourceforge.net (http://gag.sourceforge.net)] is the bootmanager of choice for a lot of people around here.
