I am looking into high speed internet.
So I've got a question that is probably pretty dumb, but here goes.
Do I need anything special for resolving IP addresses other than the resolv.conf I use now, containing my ISP's DNS IP address? Or an option I would need to enable.

Thanx

You are just going to have to add two lines to the resolv.conf:

nameserver 151.164.14.201
nameserver 151.164.88.200

Those IPs are SBC's, so they will be different when you switch to the company that provides the highspeed (since I know it's not going to be SBC, or did they finally get it out there???).

Unfortunately no not yet, but the wireless is available. That will do I guess, got to be better than dial up. They are supposed to be out anyday to set it up.
Can't wait.

Thanx KK
